Château Clamens respects nature...

Concerned about what we leave to future generations, the vineyard has been awarded High Environmental Value certification.

We have been committed to environmentally-friendly practices for many years. We cultivate our vines in a sustainable way.

This is an eco-responsible approach that extends from the vine to the bottle and takes account of the vineyard as a whole. For us, this means :

An estate with the High Environmental Value (HVE) label
Preservation of biodiversity
Very
reasoned use of inputs
No chemical fertilisation
Strict management of our water resources

We are committed to producing a healthy, high-quality wine, made using natural practices that respect people.

... and men

Chateau Clamens, vineyards in the AOP Fronton

The vines are grown using sustainable methods, with the aim of controlling yields and producing quality wine (less than 45 hl/ha). Many of our vines are planted in the direction of the Autan wind to reduce spraying and ensure the best possible health: our wine is the expression of a respected land.

This care, from the vine to the cellar, enables us to minimise the amount of sulphur in our wines (around 45 mg/L of total So2 in our reds). What's more, our red wines are neither fined nor filtered until bottling, to preserve all their flavour qualities... wines where hedonism goes hand in hand with the feeling of a job well done.
